Scientists In The Schools Program
May 18 - Ray Merriman came to talk to students as part of the Scientists-In-The-Schools program. He spent the day talking about what it is like to test work areas for safety and environmental concerns like carbon monoxide, loudness, heat and carbnon dioxide! He spoke to the high school in the morning and the primary and intermediate classes in the afternoon.
He brought his wife, Annie, and on Friday morning, they took a boat tour of the Kyuquot area.

One of the most fun things Ray did was to burst balloons! |

|
Spencer got to be an assistant and had to wear ear protection and operate a measuring device. |
